Opening Remarks
The event organized by the TOSYÖV Bursa Branch took place at Sheraton Bursa Hotel with the participation of association members. In her opening speech, Dr. Gül Çiçek Zengin Bintaş, President of the TOSYÖV Bursa Branch, emphasized that SME managers must closely follow digital transformation, especially as the pandemic has shown how essential it is.
“You Can't Go Digital Without a Digital Mindset”
In his presentation titled “Why Is Digital Transformation Important? Why Must We Embrace This Change?”, İsmail Hakkı Kavurmacı, Founder of Kavurmacı Management Center, stated: “You can't go digital with analog minds. The first step toward digitalization is not automation, but preparing the team with a digital mindset. Automation comes later.” He also underlined that in today’s business environment, knowledge, ideas, and innovation have surpassed capital as the most valuable assets.
